This flag, designed originally by Ben Franklin in 1775, was used to identify other US Navy ships. The design includes red and white stripes, the now famous rattlesnake and "Don't Tread on Me" at the bottom. If you look closely, the snake has 13 rattlers on its tail! Don't let this one slither away!
