Cruise 2025 Review

The dust has finally settled after coming back into port from our annual Cruise. The Grey Lady traveled an almost 1,300 mile round trip to the beautiful cities of Muscatine, Iowa, Alton, Illinois and Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Around 30,000 guests came onboard to walk the decks of history, with Alton having the highest turnout of the three stops.

“The folks at each venue made sure we were welcomed, and those whose donations of food, fuel, funds and equipment made sure we had all we needed,” remarked LST President John Tallent in the Winter 2025 issue of the LST’s tri-annual newsletter, The Phoenix.

The hard working LST crew was also graced by the presence of the Liberty Belles, a patriotic group of volunteer ladies that are associated with VintageNOW Productions, based out of southern Missouri. These women in red, white and blue helped spread some patriotic cheer amongst the guests and the crew alike. As you can imagine, this was one of the highlights of our voyage this year.

As all of this is all well and good, we constantly have our eyes peeled on the horizon, trying to find out the answers for that age-old question: “What’s next?”
